Srinagar: Vice-Chancellor University of Kashmir Prof Talat Ahmad on Sunday condoled the sad demise of Prof Hamid Anwar Dhar, former Controller of Examinations of the varsity. Prof Talat, Registrar Dr Nisar A Mir, Dean Academics Prof Farooq Masoodi and other officers and officials of the university paid rich tributes to Prof Dhar and recalled his contributions to the growth and development of the university.
The VC and officers, who described Prof Dhar as a dedicated teacher and an able administrator, expressed their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family in this hour of grief while praying for eternal peace to the departed soul.
