DIC Pulwama launches IEC campaign

Distributes pamphlets, Stickers; appeals people to follow CAB

PULWAMA: The District Information Centre (DIC) Pulwama today launched an IEC campaign to intensify the awareness regarding implementation of COVID appropriate behaviour in the district.
In this regard, a pamphlet distribution campaign was held today at Pulwama during which hundreds of pamphlets were distributed among the commuters, pedestrians, passengers at different places of Pulwama town.
The campaign was launched by District Information Officer Pulwama and was supported by DIC staff members and NYC volunteers. On the occasion, eminent members of civil society and Youth Icons were present.
The pamphlets and Stickers invite the attention of the public that the COVID pandemic has not culminated yet; the COVID positive cases are still being registered by the health department. As such, people were requested to avoid participation in congested places and markets. Ensure usage of masks mandatorily and maintain hand hygiene and social distancing.
Moreover, info-graphic hoardings were also installed at prominent places in Pulwama town.
Through the pamphlet, people were also requested to adhere to COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and other SOPs religiously and ensure vaccination for themselves voluntarily at nearby Health Care centres which is a free facility from the Government of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
