BARAMULLA: A middle aged person was critically injured in a bear attack in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday afternoon.
Bashir Ahmad Mugal 50 son of Faqir Ahmad Mugal of Choulan village of Uri was attacked by a black bear at Baddi Behak forest area where he was grazing his cattle, the other people present in the area reached the spot and chase the beast, in this incident the man received critical injuries.
The injured was lifted and shifted to nearby hospital where he was shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
