Pampore: Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din while conveying Eid ul Adha greetings to all Muslims, particularly residents of saffron town Pampore has called for following Covid 19 SoPs stringently.
” I wish all Muslims a happy and prosperous Eid, especially to people of Tehsil Pampore, May this Eid bring an end to the hardships that we have been facing due to COVID Pandemic,” Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din told Kashmir Reader.
He urged all residents of Tehsil Pampore to follow all SOP’s announced by the government.
” I request people of the Tehsil to offer Eid prayers in their local mosques instead of Jamias to avoid crowding,” he said, adding that abiding by SOP’s is essential for containing the spread of corona virus infection and to avoid possible third wave.
Meanwhile, Police district Awantipora on Monday held meetings with Imams ,Moulvis at Pampore, Khrew, Awantipora and Tral area and urged them to follow the government/health advisories in letter and spirit for the Eid festival to contain the spread of coronavirus infection.
