Colleagues, locals remember late Mohammad Rafiq, Director Finance Health and Medical Education as a great administrator.

Kakapora: Colleagues and local residents of Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district remembered the late Mohammad Rafiq, Director Finance Health and Medical Education as a great administrator and a noble human being.
A meeting to mourn the demise of Mohammad Rafiq and pay homage to the departed soul was organised at PHC Kakapora.
Director Finance, health and Medical Education, Mohammad Rafiq passed away on Friday at AIIMS Delhi due to brain hemorrhage stroke.
A large number of people, doctors, paramedics, traders, Ulmas, and shopkeepers attended the mourning.
” He was a great human being who was always eager to help people, he never distinguished between relatives and strangers,” said Dr Shahnawaz, Medical Officer PHC Kakapora.
The former Officer was remembered as fountain of knowledge and a source of inspiration.
“He has left behind a rich harvest of memories to cherish and honour to emulate.
The values you set in the health department of Jammu and Kashmir will always remain with us,” the mourners observed.Mohammed Rafiq was 1999 KAS officer who served in various capacities in different departments including Treasury, Agriculture, Health and Medical Education.
He had his schooling from a government school at his village in Larav Kakapora.
He has left behind a minor son, wife and mother.
