BCA graduate arrested for endangering medical shop owner’s life: SSP Srinagar

Srinagar:Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Sandeep Chaudhary on Friday said that a local resident of Chhatbal area was arrested for his fake Facebook post which endangered the life of the owner of a local medical shop.
SSP Srinagar in a brief press conference Said that a social media user named as Urwa Andrabi on Facebook and Sana Nazki on twitter was posting some news regarding an anti militancy operation wherein he was alleging that a medical shop owner belonging to minority community was involved in anti militancy operation.
“Acting swiftly, it was found that there was no authenticity in news posted by this Social media user. After proper investigation Sami-ul-llah Chalaroo, a BCA graduate, resident of Chattabal was arrested who was involved in this incident,” he added.
The SSP also said that people should refrain from such activities as the police have the tools and technology to track all anonymous social media users and any such activity would not be tolerated. KNS
