Pampore: Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a drug peddler in Pampore and recovered 55 grams of contraband from his possession.
According to polcie a party of police station Pampore led by SHO Pampore Mohammad Younis Khan under the supervision of SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad during checking near Muslim Education Institute School crossing, Namblabal Pampore arrested a person and during the course of search 55 grams of Charas has been recovered from his possession.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Lateef Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Mohammad, resident of Kadlabal Pampore.A case has been registered under section 8/20 NDPS Act at Police Station Pampore. Further investigation going on.
