BUDGAM: Due to the rise of the positive cases in Kashmir, the district Budgam have presently 64 micro containment zones and there are 3153 active positive cases in the district. The official figures said that due to the pandemic 142 deaths have occurred across the district from last year.
An official from the district administration Budgam told the Kashmir Reader that 1,85,750 vaccination doses compromising both first dose and second dose recipients have already been given to the health care workers, frontline workers, and general public.
“Due to the rise of the positive in the district, the district administration has identified 64 micro containment zones in the district for ensuring the safety of the people in the district,” the official said.
