PRC, JKSHA establish registration camp under ABPM-JAY SEHAT scheme at New Delhi

NEW DELHI: In order to facilitate the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, currently residing in New Delhi, Principal Resident Commissioner’s (PRC) office, New Delhi in coordination with J&K State Health Agency (SHA), Jammu has established the AB PM-JAY/AB PM-JAY SEHAT registration camp for eligible beneficiaries at JK House New Delhi. The eligible beneficiaries who figure in Socio-economic Caste Census 2011, can get themselves registered at the said venue and avail benefits of this universal health scheme.
Pertinently, the Prime Minister of India launched Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) – SEHAT scheme in the Union Territory of J&K on 26th December, 2020. The scheme in convergence with AB PM-JAY intends to provide health protection cover to all the residents of Union Territory of J&K aiming to reduce the Out-of-pocket expenditure on healthcare.
