SRINAGAR: The former information officer Ab Majeed Bhat popularly known as Majeed Wopzani was remembered on his 14th death anniversary at his native village Wopzan Bijbehara on Sunday.
It is pertinent to mention here that mr he was a dedicated & honest information officer in Jk information department.
Wopzani has served the department in many key posts besides that he worked as press relation officer to Former J&k chief minister and PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
The contribution of Majeed Wopzani will be remembered for many decades in the JK information department, people who participated in special prayers said.
Large number of people who visited his residence took part in special prayers and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
