Baramulla: A residential house gutted in a fire incident in Pehlipora village of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district Saturday morning.
Eyewitnesses said that fire broke out in the double story house of a local Mohammad Hayat Mir around 9:30 am, the local people living around rushed to the spot and douse the flames and brought the fire under control.
The cause of fire could not be confirmed immediately however no one was hurt in the incident.
The property worth lakhs of rupees reduced into ashes and the family has been shifted to a nearby safer place. The local people appealed to district administration Baramulla and current government Jammu and Kashmir to provide immediate relief to the victim family so that they can repair their damaged house.
