RAJOURI: As a part of the ongoing nationwide exercise, Covid-19 vaccine dry run was today conducted here at Community Health Centre, Kandi (Kotranka).
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Surinder Mohan Sharma, along with the DHO Rajouri Dr. Khalid Mansoor, Tehsildar, Hakim Shah monitored the administration of dummy vaccine at the designated site. The dry run was organized by Block Medical Officer, Dr Iqbal Malik under the Supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Dr Shamim Bhatti.
According to Dr.Iqbal Malik, a total 25 dummy beneficiaries selected from Co-WIN platform participated in the mock drive, while 5 trained members of Vaccination Team already uploaded on Co-WIN App, were also present with pre-designated roles and responsibilities.
Meanwhile, the functioning of Co-WIN App, on which all beneficiaries are going to be uploaded, was demonstrated to the Media persons and other participants.
It was informed that around 800 healthcare workers including ASHAs, Anganwadi Workers and Helpers will be given the covid-19 vaccination dose in Block Kandi in the first phase.
