BARAMULLA: A women in Uri area of north kashmir’s Baramulla ended her life as she could not bear the death of her husband.
Sources said that a person Aulad Ali Shah a resident of Sadpora Uri was shifted to government medical college (GMC) Baramulla on Friday after developed chest pain where he passed away due to heart attack, they said on Saturday morning. W hen his body was shifted to his home for last rites, his wife could not bear the loss and allegedly consumed some poisonous substance after which she shifted to nearby sub district hospital (SDH) Uri where doctors declare her dead.
Aulad Ali Shah was an empolyee of Jammu and Kashmir Gareem bank and was posted at Boniyar area of Uri. Block medical officer (BMO) Uri said that we conducted the postmortem of body and handover to his family for last rights, “We conduct the postmortem of the body and as per preliminary investigation it is clear that she consumed some poisonous substance due to which she died, however we will send her samples for further investigation after that actual facts will clear” BMO Uri Dr Ramzan told Kashmir Reader.
Meanwhile, Uri police registerd a case and start its further investigation.
