Hajin: Police in Sumbal on Saturday arrested a drug peddler here and seized contraband substance from his possession.
An official said that on the directions of SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik, a police party arrested a drug peddler and recovered 65 kilograms of charas powder from his possession.
He has been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Dar resident of Pushwarai Naidkhai.
Officials said that a case FIR under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered in police station Sumbal and investigation has been taken up.
