SRINAGAR: A high-level delegation of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (Regd.) (KTMF), as part of its outreach programme to district unit of South Srinagar visited the Alamdar Traders Association, Baghti Kanipora, on the special invitation of the local traders.
The KTMF delegation was led by Chairman Abrar Khan and comprised President Hilal Ahmad Mandoo, Senior Vice President Sofi Mohi-ud-Din, General Secretary Khalid Baba and Chief Organizer Sajad Ahmad.
The delegation was received by the office bearers of the Alamdar Traders Association, including President Tanvir-ul-Ameen, General Secretary Imtiyaz Ahmad, Vice President Farooq Ahmad Dar, Treasurer Irshad Ahmad and executive members Abdul Hamid Wani, Bilal Ahmad Wani and Javed Ahmad.
During the interaction, the representatives of the Alamdar Traders Association highlighted a number of issues affecting the trading community on a day-to-day basis. They also raised several matters concerning public welfare and local civic infrastructure, urging the Federation to take up these issues with the concerned authorities for their early resolution.
The KTMF leadership patiently heard the concerns and assured the local traders of their full support. Chairman Abrar Khan and Senior Vice President Sofi Mohi-ud-Din reiterated the Federation’s commitment to protecting the interests of the business community and working collectively for the resolution of genuine grievances.
KTMF Chairman Abrar Khan said “The Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation remains committed to standing shoulder to shoulder with the traders community. Every genuine concern raised by traders will be taken up with the concerned departments and we will pursue these matters vigorously until appropriate action is taken”.
Senior Vice President Sofi Mohi-ud-Din said, “Our field visits are aimed at understanding ground realities and strengthening coordination with traders at the grassroots level. We assure the members of the Alamdar Traders Association that their issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities and every possible effort will be made to ensure their timely redressal.”
The members of the Alamdar Traders Association appreciated the KTMF leadership for visiting their market, listening to their concerns firsthand and assuring them of sustained support in addressing issues affecting traders and the general public.
