BARAMULLA: A private school was partially damaged in Wanigam area of Pattan on Sunday evening. Sources said that fire broke out in Public High School Wanigam in Pattan area of Baramulla district on Sunday evening. The fire resulted in a portion of school was partially damaged. They said that local people living around the school reached the spot and douse the flames and save the building. Principal of the school Rayees Ahmad while talking to Kashmir Reader said that it is second time when fire broke out in the building. He said past Monday fire broke out in the building but local people saved it and now it is second time in week when fire again broke out in the building on Sunday evening in which a portion of school partially damaged. He said that recurrence of fire indicates to some mischief. He further added that they registered a complaint in police station Kreeri and police start its investigation.
