JRL extends support to Sep 25 strike call

Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has extended support to the strike call issued by traders and transporters to protest the NIA notice to trade leader Yasin Khan.

In a statement issued today, JRL while extending support to the September 25 strike call claimed that the Government of India was using National Investigation Agency (NIA) as a war weapon against Kashmiris.

Yesterday, traders and transporters called for Kashmir Bandh to protest the NIA summon.

Khan, they said, has been asked to present before NIA headquarter “as a witness” in funding case tomorrow in New Delhi.

JRL also condemned the charge sheet filed by Enforcement Directorate against senior Hurriyat leader Shabir Ahmad Shah.
