The gunfight between militants and government forces in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has ended with the killing of all three trapped militants, police said today.

The gunfight had erupted in Kalghi area of Uri early today after police, army and CRPF launched a joint operation.

A police official said that all three militants have been killed. “The operation has ended,” he said.

Two houses were reportedly damaged during the operation, said a report.
