A 17-year-old girl has died after falling from the window of a third-storeyed house in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Foziya Nazir, daughter of Nazir Ahmed Wandroo, resident of Khwaja Gilgit area of Sopore town fell from the third floor at her house and died on spot.

The accident happened on Wednesday evening when she was cleaning windows at the third floor of her house after she slipped from the window of her house.

She was rushed to sub district hospital Sopore where from doctors referred her to SKIMS institute Srinagar.

However, she succumbed to her injuries on Thursday evening reports added.

Meanwhile, on late Thursday deceased was buried at local graveyard of Bhatpora.
