Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, and Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra today greeted people of the State on the occasion of Janmashtami.
Mehbooba Mufti expressed hope that this occasion will usher in an era of peace, harmony and prosperity in the State. She said that celebrating holy festivals in an atmosphere of amity and brotherhood has been a rich tradition of the State.
Meanwhile, Governor N. N. Vohra also greeted the people on Janamashtami and expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would be a harbinger of peace, harmony, progress and prosperity in the State.
On this auspicious occasion, the Governor prayed for the well-being of the people of the State.
