Militancy is going to outlive it’s life soon: Jitendra Singh

Minister of State, PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh and Minister of State, Home, Hansraj Ahir today briefed the media in Srinagar in view of attack on Amarnath yatris in Anantnag on Monday evening.

While speaking on the occasion, Dr Jitendra Singh congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the ‘kind resilience’.

“I Congratulate people of J&K for the kind of resilience they have shown in last 25 years,” He said.

He said that the militancy in the state is going to die and is in its last phase.

“Militancy is going to outlive its life soon, we are in the last phase of militancy,” he added.

Speaking at a press conference here in Srinagar, Singh backed Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement that every Kashmiri is not a terrorist.

“Yes HM Rajnath ji is absolutely right, every Kashmiri is not a terrorist,” he added.

MoS Home Hansraj Ahir, while speaking on the occasion said that Amarnath Yatris are unfazed and enthusiastic even after the attack.

“Even after the attack, Amarnath Yatris are unfazed and enthusiastic,” he said.

Later, Dr Jitendra Singh and MoS Home Hansraj Ahir visited Amarnath Yatra pilgrims camp at Pantha Chowk in Srinagar.
