Vice Chairman, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kisans, Daljit Singh Chib today visited Grid Station Jourian.

 The Vice Chairman was accompanied by Executive Engineer and AEE of the concerned Department.

After inspecting the grid station the Vice Chairman gave strict instructions to the concerned department to quickly repair various faults on war footing and ensure that people of the area get regular electricity supply.

Chib said that Deputy Chief Minister has released one crore rupees to every constituency for repair of faulty transformers,  transmission lines, inserting of electric pools including other repairs by the concerned department so that there will be no disruption of electricity during the peak days of summer due to paucity of funds.

Chib further added that there is no scope of any laxity by the officers of the department for delays in repairs and installations and strict actions will be initiated against the erring officers.
