BJP India’s only party that fulfills it promises: Rajnath

NEW DELHI: Defence Minister and BJP leader Rajnath Singh on Tuesday addressed an election rally in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. During the rally, Singh claimed that the BJP is India’s only party that fulfills its promises.
“You are all familiar with the condition of the political parties in the country. You must have seen that various parties come to people with many promises and claims. But, (parties) would forget them as soon as the elections are over. I can guarantee that BJP is India’s only party that does what it promises,” Singh said.
The defence minister said Noida has been transformed from the centre of corruption to centre of business under the leadership of Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
“Noida was once dominated by criminals, forcing people to migrate, but this has become a thing of the past under the BJP’s double-engine government…Noida has transformed from ‘centre of corruption’ to ‘centre of business’ under leadership of PM Modi, CM Yogi,” Singh said.
Seeking votes for BJP candidate and sitting MP Mahesh Sharma, Rajnath Singh also rejected the Opposition’s claim that the saffron party is seeking to create a Hindu-Muslim divide for votes.
He said that they are accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of creating Hindu-Muslim divide.
“But I want to say this, I have known our prime minister for several years and he can never create this Hindu-Muslim division,” Singh said.
He further claimed that PM Modi only said what the Opposition Congress has said in their manifesto that they will conduct a survey of wealth.
The Opposition has moved the EC against Modi’s speech in a Rajasthan rally, claiming what the PM said was ‘hate speech’ and sought immediate action against him.
