Srinagar: The administration has decided to reopen the historic Naranag Temple in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district for devotees and tourists following a comprehensive security review.
In a post on X, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, said the decision was taken after a thorough assessment of the security situation.
“After thorough security review, decision has been taken to open the Naranag Temple at Ganderbal for devotees and tourists,” the Office of the LG, J&K, said in the post.
The reopening is expected to facilitate pilgrimage and tourism activities in the beautiful Naranag area, known for its ancient temple complex and scenic surroundings.—(KNO)
