SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the Youm-e-Wiladat of Ameer-ul-Momineen, Hazrat Ali Al Murtaza (RA).
On this revered day, Dr. Farooq emphasised the profound legacy of Hazrat Ali (RA), whose life was a beacon of wisdom, courage, justice, and piety. He praised Hazrat Ali’s (RA) unwavering commitment to the values of truth and righteousness, and his role in the spiritual and political leadership of the Muslim Ummah. “Hazrat Ali (RA) is remembered for his deep knowledge, unparalleled bravery, and his selfless service to humanity, which continue to inspire generations worldwide,” he said.
Dr. Farooq encouraged the people, particularly youth, to draw inspiration from Hazrat Ali’s (RA) teachings, particularly his emphasis on justice, compassion, humility and submission to Allah (SWT).
He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and harmony for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, hoping that the blessings of this day would guide the youth towards unity and mutual understanding. He also urged everyone to reflect upon the values of Hazrat Ali (RA) and work towards fostering an environment of love, tolerance, and brotherhood in society.
Meanwhile, Dr. Farooq Abdullah Saturday expressed profound grief over the passing of Mrs. Aiesha Begum, wife of Haji Khazir Muhammad Dar.
In a statement issued today, he extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for Mrs. Aiesha Begum’s soul to find eternal peace in Jannat.
Dr. Farooq, accompanied by Advisor to the Honorable Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani and Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer visited the family in Rajbagh to offer their condolences in person. They offered their sincere sympathies to Haji Khazir Muhammad Dar, Bilal Ahmad Dar of Metro Hotels, Khazir Travels, and Pick-n-Choose Supermarkets, and all other family members.
During the visit, the leaders offered Fatiha for the departed soul and prayed for strength and fortitude for the grieving family in this difficult time.
