Jammu: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel killed an intruder who crossed the International Border (IB) in the Jammu sector last night.
According to the PRO BSF Jammu, “On the intervening night of April 4 and 5, 2025, alert BSF troops observed suspicious movement across the International Border in the Jammu border area. An intruder was seen crossing the IB and was subsequently neutralized.”
Officials said, the intruder was challenged by the troops but ignored the warnings and continued moving forward. Sensing a threat, the BSF personnel opened fire and neutralized him.
“The identity and motive of the intruder are being ascertained,” the officials added.
A strong protest is being lodged with the counterpart regarding the incident.
