A hailstorm wreaked havoc in several areas of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
The hailstorm which hit the areas during the morning hours left the crops damaged in Sonlipora, Madm, Heer, Ichloo, Chandiloora, Wahipora, Treran, Chanpora and Drooru in Tangmarg belt.
Reports said that various other adjacent areas also witnessed the hailstorm that continued for at least 20 minutes. The hailstorm resulted in tremendous loss to farmers and fruit growers, witnesses said.
