District Tuberculosis Society Srinagar in collaboration with AXHYA (Community Volunteer
Project) on the direction of Director General of Police Prison Department, S K Mishra organized a
Medical Camp at Central Jail Srinagar today.
During the camp, medical prescription and dietary advice was provided to the jail inmates suffering from
Hypertension and diabetes in presence of Medical Officer Jail and other sub ordinate Medical Staff in Jail
Hospital. Blood samples of all the prisoners were also taken for clinical investigation to roll out
possibility of prisoners suffering from Tuberculosis.
The visiting team was provided all available official and logistic support the team also appreciated the
efforts and supports provided by the jail authorities in particular by the medical staff.
