Consciously, it is to say that the present scenario of society is on the backfoot of immoral activities caused due to violation of social and moral laws. Immorality is actually the byproduct of daily based interactions among the individuals of society if there is a huge involvement of unethical conduct such as dishonesty, corruption or dacoity. In a broader sense, peace and prosperity prevail only if there is a righteous and Allah-fearing cause of every action then only the individuals of society can be saved from any further loss. In this advanced age, only one movement is very much productive and year by year is on promotion and progress by which all the righteousness of Deen can be accomplished that is Dawat-i-Tableegh.
Dawat-i Tableegh is a mission of bringing the common people to the righteous path of Almighty Allah as the Quran says: “And who is better in utterance than the one who called people towards Allah, and acts righteously and says, “I am one of those who submit themselves (to Allah Ta’ala) (Verse: 41:33)”
While assessing the daily work of Dawat-i Tableegh, a weekly-based Thursday night is spent in the markaz in which the new resolution or tarteeb is set to bring strength to the way of dawah, especially at local masjids.
On the previous Thursday, 29th June, Eid ul Azha, the night in which everyone there was engaged in a huge gathering. I too was part of this majlis and set in a balanced and efficient way when one of the guests (mehmaan) Jammat, Moulana Arshid, from Amravati Maharashtra, took on the pulpit and delivered an eloquent speech. He used simple gestures but his eloquence in knowledge and facts were extremely impactful.
He started his speech in a different style and straightforward. It seemed to me that he is quite realistic in Dawat-i Tableegh and impressed upon the majlis that the Dawah is the main operation to protect the society from any bashfulness or feignedness. To remain attached to the Dawah is a priority and should be a chore part of the individual’s life. He gave the historical shreds of evidence that how Dawat-i-Tableegh spread the peaceful mission of Islam on the footprints of Sahaba. They spread Islam to the remote corners of the world with the message that “There is none but Allah”. Dawat-i-Tableegh is completely working on Sharia laws and in the present age of immorality dawah should be part and parcel of anybody’s life as Quran Says:
“Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel. (Verse: 16:125)”
Whosoever does Tableegh must adopt hikmah. It is only then, that people will understand and accept, and importantly, it has a special emphasis on self-reformation and doing Dawah with qualities and hikmah (wisdom).
In his speech, he traced the family tree of Moulana Saad sahab till Hazrat Abu Bakr Sidiq (RA) and here it is realised that the work of Dawat-i-Tableegh has a virtuous and divine cause inferred from the lifestyle of Hazrat Abu Bakr Sidiq (RA). The way he (RA) and all Suhabas promoted the Dawat-i-Tableegh with belief and had given a lot of sacrifices at the utmost level of honesty and dedication. This shows that Dawat-i-Tableegh has a divine historical background, that is why the family of Moulana Saad sahab has been involved in Dawat-i-Tableegh and Nizamuddin Markaz has become the birthplace and global centre of the Dawah. This missionary and reformist movement was actually started by Muhammad Ilyas Kandhalwi in 1926 and still, millions and trillions of people are following the Dawah under the guidance of Nizamu din Markaz Delhi.
Moulana Arshid sahab elaborated on the righteous cause of Dawat-i-Tableegh. ‘Kharooj’ has become a pivotal part of individual’s and following it with belief and honesty along with self-reformation can help a Da’ee to call people towards the righteous path of Almighty Allah. His speech was based on “Zaat and Sifaat” of Prophet Mohammad(SAW) and Hazrati Abu Bakr Sidiq (RA) and explained how Nizamuddin Markaz initiated the process of Dawah with huge involvement of sacrifices from the lineage of Moulana Saad sahab. Throughout the world, millions and trillions of followers have an emotional attachment to the markaz. It is because this is actually working on the footprints of Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAW)which has changed the lives of trillions of people throughout the world. Almost every part of the world now got involved in the righteous mission of peace and prosperity of Islam. This allows each and every Muslim of the world to harness the power of Islam and most importantly achieve the aim of Jannah in hereafter life.
Moulana Arshid sahab emphasised that we should involve ourselves in the spread of deen and Almighty Allah Himself becomes the lone guarantor of taking the followers of Islam to Jannah. We should tend to be in touch with markaz as Suhabas did in their times as this is necessary to be systematic under the guidance of Markaz Nizamuddin, New Delhi.
In present times, the Dawah has an innovative cause and it seems a foolish thing for a person who thinks in this line. Actually, we don’t comprehend the things which are based on the lifestyle of Suhaba by whom everyone got inspired to be strong enough in the affairs of Deen, to develop a spiritual sense, and to direct life by calling people towards the path of Allah. The accountability of Da’ee is very strict in front of the system of Dawah that is why tarbeeb of kharooj is important. To remain in touch with the markaz and running the system of the local masjid is an individual part of Da’ee and there is no arbitrary in the Dawah and bearing the pain and struggle can bring a huge reward in hereafter life.
Furthermore, the mindset that is encouraged in markaz after every week, especially on Qayamul Layl on Thursday night is a state of entering a new moment by boosting Eemaan, an individual’s desire to go for kharooj and to accomplish all Takazas from the Markaz. Would it not be great if a Da’ee is grateful and targeted in attending these nights because this majlis ( gathering) is a complete revival of Eemaan and developing the mindset for doing Dawah, expressed in length and breadth by Moulana Arshid sahab.
Distraction from the most effective means of gathering (Thursday’s night) can make a Dae sluggish and half-hearted which can inevitably break the chain of his Tarteeb and it is probably a deliberate ploy by our inner chimps (nafs) to avoid any sort of un-Islamic activity. It can be convenient, realistic, time-specific, mission-driven and achievable goals in time for the propagation of Deen. But above all, you are more likely to be successful by simply starting kharooj at the local or foreign level by doing self-motivation.
