Hajin: A free medical camp was organised in Hajin on Sunday by Doctor’s Hub in collaboration with the GR Beigh Memorial Foundation, providing much-needed healthcare services to local residents.
The camp was inaugurated by Ishtiyaq Ahmad Beigh the presence of National Executive Member of AISTF Mir Bashir Ahmad , Khursheed Ahmad Wani.
Officials said that more than 100 patients availed consultation during the camp, where diagnostic facilities including ultrasound and fibroscan were provided free of cost.
In addition to free consultations, patients were offered up to 50 percent discount on various medical tests, while medicines were also distributed free among the beneficiaries.
A team of specialist doctors examined patients across different disciplines. The team included Dr Mohd Riyaz Lattoo, Gastro Surgeon and Associate Professor at SKIMS; Dr Nayeem-ul-Hassan, Dr Altaf Mir and Dr Sheikh Bilal.
Locals appreciated the initiative, stating that such camps play a vital role in extending healthcare access, especially in areas where specialised medical services are not readily available.
