PAMPORE: Uzma Amin, Chairperson, Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore (Munsiff/Judicial Magistrate Pampore), on Wednesday led the observance of Constitution Day at the Munsiff Court Pampore.
The programme commenced with a brief introduction on the significance of the day, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26 November 1949. Uzma Amin addressed the gathering, emphasizing the foundational principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution. She highlighted the crucial role of the judiciary, legal services institutions, and citizens in upholding constitutional mandates and ensuring access to justice for all.
All court & TLSC staff, learned Advocates, and Para Legal Volunteers attended the event with great enthusiasm. Participants collectively read the Preamble to the Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to constitutional values, legal awareness, and the promotion of rights and duties among citizens.
The observance concluded with an appeal to continue strengthening legal literacy and ensuring that the benefits of the legal services framework reach every section of society, particularly the marginalized and vulnerable.
