Srinagar: Senior Journalist and J&K Bureau Head of The Week, Tariq Ahmad Bhat died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning at his home in Srinagar.
Bhat complained of chest pain today morning and he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
He said that funeral prayer of Bhat will be held at 11:30 am in the Chota Bazar locality of Kani Kadal.
Editor-in-Chief Kashmir Kashmir Reader, Haji Hayat expressed grief and sorrow over his demise and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
