Srinagar: A moderate earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale shook Kashmir on Thursday. The tremors were felt at around 1:58 PM today in the valley.
However, no immediate loss of life, injuries, or damage has been reported.
According to official sources, the epicenter of the quake was located at a depth of 180 km in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. (agencies)
