KULGAM: Police in Kulgam have seized two tractors and arrested their drivers for illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
Acting on reliable information, a police team led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Kund Police Station intercepted the tractors at Kanchloo Crossing Kund, seizing both the vehicles and the illegally extracted materials. The drivers were arrested and taken to the police station, where they remain in custody.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 29/2024 at the Kund Police Station, and an investigation is underway.
