GANDERBAL: Burglars decamped with solar batteries and an inverter worth lakhs from BDO office Gund in Center Kashmir’s Ganderbal District during the intervening night of Friday officials said.
Officials said that last night, thieves broke the locks and ran away with the batteries and inverter worth lakhs of rupees at BDO office Gund.
The incident was discovered on Friday morning when employees arrived to find broken locks, windows, and doors. Upon noticing the theft, they promptly alerted higher authorities and the police. A complaint has been lodged at the Gund Police Station.
SHO of Gund Police Station, Lateef Ahmad, informed Kashmir Reader that they are currently gathering information and have filed FIR no 16 under the relevant sections of the law. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
