Saffron Growers Association mourns demise of ex-agriculture officer’s mother

PAMPORE: The Saffron Growers Association expressed its deepest condolences on the passing of the mother of Retired Agriculture Officer Chuni Lal Pandit from Pampore. She peacefully passed away at her ancestral residence in the Pampore Tehsil area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
“On behalf of the All Jammu and Kashmir Saffron Growers Association Pampore, President Abdul Majeed Wani and General Secretary Javaid Ahmad Ganie extend their heartfelt condolences on the passing of the mother of the Retired Agriculture Officer.”
A condolence meeting, presided over by Saffron Growers Association President Abdul Majeed Wani and General Secretary Javaid Ahmad Ganaie, was held on Sunday. They expressed their sympathies and solidarity with the bereaved family, particularly with former Agriculture Officer Chuni Lal Pandit, and paid tribute to the departed soul, the Association spokesman informed Kashmir Reader.
“We share the grief of the bereaved family and pray to God for solace for the departed soul,” said Majeed Wani.
