Sahitya Akademi’s ‘Kavisandhi’ enthralls audience with eminent poet Sagar Sarfaraz

SRINAGAR: The Sahitya Akademi organised a captivating literary event, “Kavisandhi,” featuring the eminent poet Sagar Sarfaraz on Saturday at M.D School Hajin. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Mohammad Amin Bhat, President Adabi Markaz Kamraz, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The event also saw the participation of notable figures, including President HAS Shakir Shafi, Zameer Ansari, Dr. Riyaz ul Hassan, Majeed Majazi, Nazir Javid, Al Haj Ghulam Nabi, Manzoor Ahmad Manzoor, Shabnam Tilgami, and of course, the celebrated poet Sagar Sarfaraz.
Writers, poets, journalists, and members of the HAS actively participated in the literary gathering, creating an atmosphere of intellectual exchange and appreciation for literary art.
Sagar Sarfaraz, with his enchanting verses, mesmerized the audience, taking center stage and filling the air with the profound beauty of language and emotion. His poetry resonated deeply, leaving a lasting impact on all those in attendance.
Majeed Majazi, while addressing the audience, emphasized the significance of organizing such programs, stating that they play a crucial role in cultivating interest among the younger generation for their mother tongue and heritage.
