Learn to defeat procrastination

Someone has said, “Never do tomorrow what you can do today.”
Which in simpler words means do not leave today’s task undone with the hope of doing it tomorrow.
Procrastination, as someone has put it rightly, is the thief of time.
But do you know what procrastination means?
In simple words, it means the act of delaying, putting off, or postponing our actions, especially habitually or intentionally.
All the wise persons consider it a bad habit for those who want to achieve great things in their lives.
If you want to become a great person in the future but are controlled by laziness and procrastinate your actions, you must take it as a warning. Procrastination is such a dangerous habit that can have devastating effects on your career in the future.
Those who want to achieve great things in this world must learn how to free themselves from the yoke of this worst habit. The problem with many of our young and brilliant students is that even after seeing big dreams and having big aims and ambitions, they do not act at the proper time. Due to this habit, their tasks keep getting heavier and heavier with every passing day, and then a time arrives when it becomes like a colossal burden for them, which they cannot lift. It is good for our students to have great aims. Those who dare to have great aims achieve great things in this world. However, if these people who aim high do not know how to free themselves from the clutches of procrastination, they can hardly achieve their aims. I have seen or met many students who aimed high and dreamt big but then failed because they could not defeat this monstrous habit of procrastination. We must know that procrastination is such an evil habit that can devastate the career of even those students whom we might have considered genius once. The main difference between those whom we call brilliant students and those whom we consider average students is often that the so-called brilliant ones act at the proper time and do not procrastinate.
People often procrastinate because they do not have the desired energy and strength to act at the proper time. They keep delaying the important things and keep taking pleasure in laziness. But the reality is that only those people who leave their comfort zones and are ready to bear the brunt of adversity can achieve great things here. If you think that you can achieve great things without hard work and patience here, then you are greatly mistaken. For achieving great feats here, we need to defeat this monstrous habit of procrastination and install the real energy in ourselves to move ahead. The students particularly must have such passion and eagerness that they should take up tomorrow’s assignments for today, let alone vice versa. Those students who keep putting off their tasks lazily have to bear the brunt at the eleventh hour. For example, when a session or a course begins, if you keep saying that you will do this or that task or homework next day or next time, you just keep increasing your burden. After some time, it becomes a huge pile before you, and then like a magnanimous mountain which you do not even dare to look at. This is the side effect of procrastination.
Students must have curiosity to learn new things always. They must know that curiosity is the key to their success provided they avoid and defeat procrastination forever.
