Centre for Youth Development inspires edu excursion to SPS Library for students

Srinagar: The Centre for Youth Development (CYD) took a significant step towards promoting a culture of learning and intellectual curiosity by organizing an educational tour of the SPS Library for school students from downtown Srinagar.
With a mission to encourage students to explore and appreciate places of knowledge, the tour aimed to instill a love for reading and cultivate habits that contribute to intellectual growth. The students were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vast array of resources available at the SPS Library, fostering an environment conducive to expanding their knowledge horizons.
Mr. Imtiyaz Rashid Chashti, Chairman of CYD, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in shaping the educational landscape. He stated, “These tours play a pivotal role in nurturing a generation that values knowledge and understands the wealth of information available in libraries. We believe that exposing students to such environments will not only enhance their reading habits but also contribute to their overall academic and personal development.”
