HK Cements organizes flagging-off ceremony for Mines Env and Mineral Conservation Week

PAMPORE, December 21: HK Cement Industries organized a noteworthy programme at their factory premises in Village Bathen, Khrew, to mark the Flagging-Off Ceremony of the Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation Week 2023-2024. The event, held on Thursday, gathered key figures from the mining industry and local authorities.
Manish K Maindiratta, the Regional Controller of Mines for the Dehradun Region, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He flagged off the inspection team for the Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation (ME&MC) Week, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Zahoor Ahmad Mir, owner of HK Cement Industries Private Limited, played a crucial role in hosting the event. The presence of District Mineral Officer Pulwama, Er Mohammad Manzoor, and other dignitaries added significance to the ceremony.
Under the aegis of the Indian Bureau of Mines Dehradun Region, the flagging-off ceremony aimed to inaugurate the Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation Week 2023-2024. The event underscores the importance of responsible mining practices and environmental conservation in the region.
The inspection team, led by Manish K Maindiratta, is expected to carry out assessments and inspections during the designated week to ensure adherence to environmental and mineral conservation standards.
