Pampore: The Bar Association Pampore conducted elections for the post of President in primises Munsif Court Pampore on Thursday. Adv Arshid Ahmad Dar secured victory by defeating Adv Arif Masoodi Arshid with a margin of 8 votes, subsequently becoming the elected President of the Bar Association Pampore.
According to the Bar Association Pampore, the Bar Association Pampore held an election for the post of President. The competition featured two contenders, Adv Arif Hussain Masoodi and Adv Arshid Ahmad Dar, both vying for this esteemed role. Arshid Ahmad Dar secured a triumphant victory, defeating Arif Hussain Masoodi with a significant margin of 8 votes.
Out of the total 43 votes cast, Arshid Ahmad Dar garnered an impressive 25 votes, while his opponent, Arif Hussain Masoodi, received 17 votes. The election results were officially declared, confirming Arshid Ahmad Dar as the elected president of the Bar Association Pampore.
The association, in a collective show of support and camaraderie, warmly welcomed the newly elected President with a shower of flowers. The gesture not only acknowledges Dar’s personal achievement but also signifies the widespread endorsement and approval of his leadership by the Bar members of Pampore.
After the declaration of results, the Elected Bar President Adv Arshid Ahmad Dar, thanked all participants and pledged work with dedication and honesty for the betterment of their fraternity.
