World Youth Skills Day: Army’s 55 RR organises event at Malangpora

PULWAMA: Army’s 55 RR organised an event on World Youth Skills Day on Saturday to spread awareness about the importance of developing new skills for youth in Malangpora COB AoR.
Malangpora COB organized an interactive session with young minds to exchange ideas about the importance of new skills, keeping in mind the well-being of the youth and future generations.
The event was meticulously planned and organised at the Government High School Lajoora area of Pulwama district.
The event involved activities like career guidance, the development of entrepreneurial spirit among youth, and unleashing the untapped potential of Kashmir in the era of dynamic technologies.
Different world views were exchanged by locals, with a special focus on the way ahead to add to the success story of Kashmir by generating not only job opportunities but a skilled workforce.
Furthermore, the preparedness of the Indian Army to support local youths in achieving their career goals was conveyed.
A total of 150 young individuals from nearby villages benefited from the event that was organised, officials said.
Through this event, Malangpora not only expressed bright ideas and options for developing new skills and job opportunities but also instilled hope, trust, and belongingness among the people.
The Army said it always stands committed to the welfare of locals and continues to uphold their trust. The gesture of COB to work for the well-being of citizens was deeply appreciated and applauded by the locals.
The event showcased the Army’s interest in the well-being of local youth and the efforts it takes to ensure the same.
