Dear students,
The age at which you are students is ironically a point where you can either make yourself or mar yourself. You are adolescents, and adolescence is a stage of life which is full of storms and strife and trials and tribulations. This is also the point which demands both enjoyment and enlightenment. This stage may tantalize and tease you with various enthralling and alluring scenes and the choice is yours. You are energetic, youthful, and full of desires and dreams. But you must school your dreams and desires into the sublime and socially acceptable acts. Once you discipline and school the tempting desires and tantalizing lusts into socially legitimate and approved acts, success will surely smooch your forehead and bow at your feet. Youth, as you know, is a very rebellious and recalcitrant stallion. It has to be controlled in a very strict way. The reins of this stallion are in your hands. You must hold these reins tightly to stymie the horse of the youth from taking the wrong and dangerous path. In order to be successful in life you need to mingle your blood and sweat together. You must burn the midnight oil for success comes to those who do not let it happen but who make it happen. You cannot be successful by sitting on the comfortable armchairs. You cannot reach the success mark by whiling away your time on social media apps and ultra digital games. Success is not what is given in gratis but success is what we effort for.
Digital technology at present is coupled with characteristics both good and bad. You should not be lured and taken away by its bad features. Instead, you should shun the bad and stamp in the good in order to get going in this fast-changing and ever-evolving world. Doff the crazy clothes of laziness, slog and waywardness and don the enlightening apparel of this competitive world where only those survive who tackle the cut-throat competition in an active and bold way. You must hold dear the adage ‘when the going gets tough, the tough get going.’ Success has many fathers but failure is an orphan, so says, John F. Kennedy, the then-American President. Successful students receive a lot of kudos and accolades and in comparison, failures are always isolated socially and receive nothing but taunts. Get yourself going in this competitive and swiftly changing world. Work hard to qualify for the competitive exams to include yourself in the excellent and awe-inspiring rankers in different fields
You must bear in mind that a successful and satisfied life is based on three ethical codes. They are: Discipline, Honesty and Dedication. Discipline is the key that unlocks the boundless avenues for you in a disciplined and reasonable way. Alongside this discipline, honesty must be dearer to you for it can hone you into a person of trust and respect. First of all, you must be honest to yourself, secondly, be honest towards your family, and finally be honest towards your society. Refrain from going to those paths that are astray and betray you and your family. Family and society, as we know, are the two sympathetic nurses that nurse you. You must display dedication every time if you wish to reach the zenith of a successful life. You must be dedicated to achieving perfection and excellence in every field. You must be dedicated enough to stamp in good ethics in your life and stamp out the bad, dangerous and unlawful desires. You must keep in mind that youth is not an achievement but an opportunity to achieve, so says Dr. Zakir Hussian, the then-President of India
