Chaos outside Narendra Modi Stadium for IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 tickets

New Delhi: There was chaos among the fans standing the queues at the ticket collecting station of the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday to collect the printed tickets for the IPL Qualifiers 2.
As per the rules, even after booking the tickets online, the the customers must collect their physical tickets from the stadium. The long queues outside the stadium triggered a chaos and fans could be seen jostling with each other in order to reach the ticket counter.
The second qualifier will be played on Friday between the defending champions Gujarat Titans and five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians. The winner of Qualifier 2 will lock horns against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings in the summit clash.
Gujarat Titans were outclassed and outgunned in Qualifier 1 by CSK at Chepauk but the Hardik Pandya-led team will have another chance to put their best foot forward in familiar conditions.
Mumbai Indians on the other hand will be high on confidence after they knocked out Lucknow Super Giants from the race to the final with an 81-run win.
It would be the third third meeting between Gujarat and Mumbai this season, with both teams winning one game each.
After the Titans crushed MI at this venue by 55 runs in a one-sided game, in their next game, Suryakumar struck his maiden IPL century to power MI to a 27-run win.
