Srinagar: Blood Donation Camp was organized on Thursday at the Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST-K, Rangil in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine, Government Medical College, SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Prof. (Dr)Farooz Ahmad Bhat, Dean Faculty of Fisheries by donating the first point of blood. UG/PG students, scientists, non-teaching employees actively participated by donating more than 50 pints of blood for alleviating suffering of the poor and needy.
The event was appreciated by Vice-Chancellor SKUAT-K, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai. The program was coordinated by Dr. Mudasir M. Kirmani, SWO, FoFy, SKUAST-K and Dr M. Arif, Medical Officer, FoFy, SKUAST-Kashmir.
