Srinagar: A one-day counselling session-cum motivational speech on new age management was held at Faculty of Agriculture Wadura on Thursday. The event was organized under the aegis of IDP-NAHEP by Career Counselling & Placement Cell, FoA, Wadura.
Renowned motivational speaker Mr. S. N. Tripathi (IAS) 1985 batch, former Special Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, GoI, Secretary Ministry of Parliamentary affairs, former Director General IIPA was the chief Guest and speaker on the occasion.
He motivated the students to learn how to overcome challenges/hurdles and shared secrets of success in achieving prosperity/high living standards. He advocated infusing investments in education particularly focusing on learning of soft and technical skills in addition of degrees. Event was attended by all the Heads of Divisions, Faculty members and PhD/PG/UG/ UG students of this Faculty.
A plantation drive was also organized on the side-lines of the event. Prof. Tariq Raja Head, Division of Statistics welcomed the Guest and Prof.Raihana Habib Kanth, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-K, Wadura presented a vote of thanks.
