Education conference cum farewell function held in Pampore

PAMPORE: An education conference was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum education zone Pampore under the chairmanship of District President JKTF Pulwama Abdul Hamid Trumboo in which a large gathering of teachers, masters and senior citizens especially the retired teachers and masters from Pampore, Pulwama and other zones participated.
The conference was attended by Ex-State President Mohammad Afzal Bhat as the guest of honour, Ex trade union leader Mukhtar Ahmad Tantray as special guest. The guests were received by District Secretary JKTF Pulwama Mohammad Amin Bhat, Zonal President Pampore Bilal Ahmad Wani, Farooq Ahmad Wani, Kuchay Yousuf, Mohammad Rafiq Shah, Naseer Ahmad, and other executive members of JKTF of Zone Pampore, JKTF Pampore officials told Kashmir Reader.
The conference was held to mobilise the teachers and other stakeholders by highlighting and discussing different parameters of education under the new education policy NEP 2020 and its implementation. Various suggestions and other issues were also put forth before the dignitaries for necessary redressal at higher levels.
It was unanimously decided to implement the policy with the utmost capacity of every teacher as a mission with the vision to reform education at the grassroots level.
The successful enrolment drive kick-started by worthy Director Education Kashmir was felt as the need of the hour with the hope that all odds along the path be neutralised and the promise and hope of parents be given a special corner. District Secretary Mohammad Amin Bhat elaborated on the role of teachers at the individual as well as collective levels for the transformation of education.
Mukhtar Ahmad Tantray and Mohammad Afzal Bhat stressed for unity to achieve the goal with the sharing of resources at every level, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Meanwhile, the services of Nisar Ahmad Wani Master Government Middle School Meej Pampore was applauded and felicitated on his superannuation from his services. He was presented by a memento in his praise for successfully and efficiently completing his service tenure.
