Meeting held at Pampore to review status of dev projects

PAMPORE: Block Development Officer Pampore Mohammad Ashraf Mir and BDC Chairman Mir Altaf Ahmad chaired a developmental review meeting at the BDO office here in the Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental works under the Capex budget 2022-23. Officials of the BDO office Pampore, Sarpanchs, Deputy Sarpanchs and Secretary Panchayats of the block Pampore attended the meeting.

A number of Panchs, Deputy Sarpanchs, and Secretary Panchayats of Pampore block took part in the meeting.

“Today here at block Pampore, we held a meeting to review developmental works, we reviewed the progress of various developmental works which were undertaken in the last financial year and checked their status,” BDC Chairman, Mir Altaf Ahmad told Kashmir Reader, adding that they discussed how many projects have been completed and how many are pending.

He said that they stressed all line departments and Panchayat secretaries of the Rural Development Department for completing the pending works before 31 March 2023.

BDO Pampore Mohammad Ashraf told Kashmir Reader that besides councillors the review meeting was attended by MGNREGA contractors who were asked to complete the tendered projects as soon as possible.

“Under Capex budget 158 works were undertaken out of which 117 have been completed and 41 will be completed this month,” BDO Pampore said.
