Lethpora youth help stranded vehicles on national highway

PAMPORE: Amid the heavy snowfall in Kashmir, Lethpora youth provided a helping hand to the strand vehicles on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway near the Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The local youth helped the tourist, ambulances and other private vehicles that were stuck in the snow at Lethpora village.
Due to heavy snowfall and slippery road conditions, hundreds of vehicles were stranded on the highway. Passengers, patients, and tourists had to face immense difficulties. But in order to evacuate these vehicles, the local youth provided a helping hand to the needy persons, ambulance and tourist vehicles as well as hundreds of other vehicles.
The local youth told Kashmir Reader that the machines have been put to work by the administration but still, hundreds of vehicles are stranded here, due to which patients and travelers are suffering. “We tried hard to evacuate these vehicles so that they don’t have to face any difficulty,” they said
Meanwhile, tourists from various states of the country hailed the efforts of the local youth.
