KISHTWAR: An online orientation programme cum workshop on JK career portal “Manzilein” was today organised by District Guidance and Counselling Cell of School Education Department Kishtwar.
The programme was organised under the close supervision of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Sudarshan Kumar Sharma and under the guidance of District Counselling Coordinator Sandeep Kumar Rathore and District Counsellor Arvind Kumar sen.
Faculty members of Directorate of School Education Jammu Dr. Alka Sharma, Bindu, Preeti and other members were special Guests on the occasion.
In this online meet/workshop, the Principals/Headmasters/Faculty counsellors/Teachers and students from the different Higher Secondary and High Schools participated with great enthusiasm and zeal.
The online orientation programme started with the welcome address which was followed by the lecture by Dr. Alka Sharma, who laid emphasis on exploring of the online career portal and insisted all the participants to register the Teachers and students regarding Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 by and before 30-12-2022.
Besides, the zonal counselling coordinators (ZCCs) of the 7 zones of the district namely, Babu Lal Sharma, ZCC Marwah; Abid Hussain ZCC warwan; Ram Rakesh ZCC Drabshalla; Ajay Thakur ZCC Kishtwar; Bilal Ahmed ZCC Inderwal; Rakesh Kumar ZCC Padder and Khaliq Hussain ZCC Nagseni also attended the online meet/workshop.
JK career portal was recently launched by Principal Secretary Education Department J&K Alok Kumar and Director School Education Jammu Ravi Kumar Sharma in collaboration with UNICEF at a function organized by the Head counselling cell Directorate of School Education Jammu.
District counselling coordinator Sandeep Kumar Rathore gave a demo on joining and exploring the portal by students as well as Teachers. The participants including HOIs were asked to help each and every student to take benefit of the portal. They were also requested to cooperate with the Zonal Counseling Co-ordinators to achieve the target and intimate all the information to concerned ZCCs for compilation and onward submission to higher ups.
The vote of thanks was presented by District Counselling coordinator Sandeep Kumar Rathore and the programme was coordinated by ZCC Marwah Babu Lal.
